Our Story

 

2018: The Beginning

Talidara began as a personal venture when Frederik Ehlers, driven by a desire to improve upon a diamond ring he purchased at auction, started collaborating with suppliers and skilled jewelers to bring his vision to life. Initially, our pieces were sold locally, and it wasn’t until early 2019 that we expanded our reach by offering our designs online.

 

2019: Growing Presence

We launched our designs online through various marketplaces, garnering significant interest and success. During this period, our focus was on custom-made pieces, meticulously crafted to match each customer’s unique specifications.

 

2021: Official Incorporation

In 2021, Talidara was officially incorporated in the Czech Republic. This year marked a significant milestone as we featured a magnificent 24.7-carat emerald and diamond ring in Sotheby’s Paris Fine Jewelry auction, which sparked a thrilling bidding war.

 

2022: Continued Success

Our success continued in 2022 with another feature in Sotheby’s Paris Fine Jewelry auction. We showcased the “Unity” ring, adorned with a stunning “Pigeon Blood” ruby and diamonds, and “The Eye” ring, our first bold statement piece that captured attention with its elegant yet striking design. Both pieces resulted in competitive bidding wars.

 

2023: Expanding Horizons

In 2023, we maintained our tradition of bespoke jewelry and introduced our first watch design. Although it received mixed opinions, it generated considerable buzz in watch news media worldwide, embodying our commitment to creating truly unique items.

 

2024: A New Chapter

2024 marks the launch of our first dedicated online shop, allowing customers to order custom pieces with various metals and stones, catering to a wide range of budgets. This new platform, along with our presence on multiple other channels, aims to bring our distinctive designs to a broader audience.
